Frank Ocean Releases ‘Blonde’ Album
Four years after his debut album and a year of release date speculation, the artist finally came from under that rock he was hiding and blessed us with new music. The album also includes double basses, violins, and cellos from the London Contemporary Orchestra, conducted by Robert Ames. The song, which is not included on Endless, is expected to serve as the first single from Ocean’s forthcoming follow-up to the visual album. “I got twoooo versions”, Frank Ocean wrote in April 2015 announcing his new LP, then titled Boys Don’t Cry.

Fulfilling its promise of bringing even more exclusives to its music streaming service, Apple Music has exclusively released Frank Ocean’s new visual album Endless. He finally released that self-directed film on Thursday night, which features him building set pieces while 18 tracks (possibly from his album???) play in the background.
Endless features an array of diverse musicians, including Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, James Blake, Jazmine Sullivan, British R&B vocalist Sampha and producer Arca.
There’s been a ton of hype surrounding Frank Ocean’s new album, including a website created to alert you the moment of the drop.
From Ocean’s website, a reminder that he knows you’ve been waiting.
Is the visual album anything like Lemonade?
Dig a little deeper, though, and the hidden gems interspersed throughout Ocean’s latest project start to shine out. The same day the video was posted, The New York Times reported that Boys Don’t Cry was due the following Friday exclusively on Apple Music, but it never dropped.

That aside, Ocean’s video is certainly eye-catching as he performs the lyrics in an all-white beaded pearl jumpsuit.
