Surface Pro 3 battery issue fix coming soon says Microsoft

In addition, there were also owners who opted to pay for new models, for they thought it would take too long before the patch gets released and their Surface Pro 3 batteries would be useless by then. The question which is bothering people is whether or not to wait for the next gen Surface Pro. While the team had been looking into the battery draining phenomenon since early July 2016, an end date to users suffering had not been discussed let alone a solution that could potentially address the matter. However, Microsoft denied these claims by saying that the issues with battery in Surface Pro 3 can be solved with a software fix.
