Watch Arsene Wenger’s press conference after Arsenal draw 0-0 with Leicester
Granit Xhaka remains the only marquee arrival for the Gunners with just over a week to go before the deadline, although youngsters Rob Holding and Takuma Asano have also signed up. Have I done well, yes? We are ready to do that. It’s a bit surprising you come out of games and don’t speak about football.

Wenger reserved praise for defender Holding but also felt Arsenal should have taken more than a point.
It did work to an extent as Arsenal were conceding fewer goals and were tough to beat during Bould’s initial days as the assistant, but all that seems to have evaporated in the last two seasons and Arsenal are back to their best or worst if you want to call it that. He’s English, he’s 20 years old. “I am sorry he didn’t cost £55million so he can’t be good”.
“They are highly influenced by the media”, he said.
Speaking to BT Sport after the match, Wenger was non-committal on each incident but highlighted Leicester’s record of winning regular spot-kicks on their way to the title last season. “That’s part of the process today”.
“I think it’s been poor management, poor planning and I do think Arsenal fans have every right to be fed-up, frustrated and to voice their concerns”.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil and striker Olivier Giroud will only be 100% fit at the end of the month.
Substitute Ahmed Musa was then brought down by Hector Bellerin in the 88th minute as Leicester’s counter-attacking pace put Arsenal under pressure, only for Clattenburg to again wave play on.
Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri, however, was phlegmatic.
“It was a game where we had the chances and I think it was a game of intensity and quality”, he said.
“For me, it’s OK”.
“The referee made a very good performance and a penalty happens when the referee whistles”. Usually the away fans are of a slightly more forgiving disposition, if only because usually those fans don’t get to often see their team in person. “You should be happy; he is English, he is 20 years old, but I’m sorry he didn’t cost £55m, so it can not be good”.

In a further blow to Leicester, new signing Nampalys Mendy went off injured early in the second half after getting his studs caught in the turf and appearing to twist his foot.
