Ever since its premiere last year, Rick and Morty has experienced an vast surge in popularity. The series’ Season 2 premiere on July 26 ranked No. 1 in its time period among all key adults and men. It stars Justin Roiland, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer and Sarah Chalke and airs Sundays at 11:30 p.m. on Adult Swim. Can the family survive Rick’s insanity and all the chaos the universe throws at them? No other show on TV has Rick and Morty’s combination of amazingly out-there science fiction, uncomfortable comedy, and genuinely effective character arcs. The series follows the multiverse-spanning misadventures of Rick, a brilliant but sociopathic scientist, and his dimwitted grandon, Morty.
