What role is Roger Ailes playing in Donald Trump’s campaign?
Trump’s new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, refused to say during a CNN interview whether the presidential candidate was still planning to set up a deportation force.

Conway also reiterated the long-standing Trump campaign position that the candidate won’t release his tax returns, saying they are under audit.
“Whether Donald Trump’s immigration plan includes a deportation squad to forcibly remove millions of families from their homes has been asked and answered by the candidate himself time and time again”.
Conway tells ABC’s “This Week” that now that she’s on the inside, she realizes “that this audit is a serious matter, and he has said when the audit is complete he will release his tax returns”.
Trump has voiced criticisms of the scheduled debates on September 26, October 4 and October 9, including complaining that two debates coincide with football games.
“Roger Ailes is a genius when it comes to television, when it comes to communicating with people, but so is Donald Trump”, she said.
“It’s that we need a, quote, fair and humane way of dealing with what is estimated to be about 11 million illegal immigrants in this country”, said Conway, who also took part in the meeting.
Even if the real-estate mogul does soften his immigration platform, it seems unlikely Hillary Clinton’s campaign will let voters forget Trump’s more controversial policy proposals.
Priebus tells ABC’s “This Week” that “Trump’s been disciplined and mature, and I think he’s going to get this thing back on track”. “He definitely was seeking input from this group of Latinos in terms of immigration reform”, Jesus Marquez, a Nevada political analyst and Latino outreach strategist, told the news outlet. The GOP chairman says he’s “never happy” with criticisms of “great leaders” like House Speaker Paul Ryan.
Donald Trump’s campaign could not immediately be reached for comment.
In a Sunday interview on CNN’s “State of the Union”, Trump’s new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, suggested the candidate’s proposed force, which would forcibly remove the approximately 11 million immigrants living in the USA without permission, may be off the table. A senior RNC official also disputed the reports, telling Breitbart News that Trump “gave zero indication” that he was open to legalization of undocumented immigrants.
