LG Nexus and Huawei Nexus specs leak, suggest very similar devices
The Nexus 6 drew a lot of flak for its size and price; and now Google has reportedly commissioned LG (and Huawei?) to come up with a new handset once the current device hits its one-year lifecycle. Evan Blass has leaked some Huawei Nexus 6 specifications in July that match these new leakes. This smartphone will have a display of 5.2-inches (the Nexus 5 display is 4.95-inches, which makes it a little bigger), along with two speakers on the front, a new USB type-C port, and a fingerprint sensor, oddly, placed at the back of the device.

READ: Nexus 5 (2015): What’s the story so far? The base version is rumored to come with 32 GB internal memory, with no microSD as usual. Given that this will be a flagship Nexus device, it’s pretty safe to assume that the previously reported QHD (2560×1440) resolution is a given.
This device is also expected to be narrower than the previous one; it will be 78.3mm while the old Nexus 6 is 83mm. The Google Nexus line of devices are usually the first units to receive any new updates to their Android operating systems, and even though they are manufactured by a third-party partners, Google still provides all the devices’ design, development, and support. And you know how Google is when it comes to “Easter egg”-style sightings”.

Coming towards the Chinese manufacturer Huawei, we’ve been hearing word about a potential partnership between Google and the company, through which the software giant gets to promote an App Store in the every growing Chinese market and Huawei gains global exposure for its smartphones. It also suggests that the handset will have a curved body with varying thickness. “According to the leak it features a 5.2” screen. There is also a fingerprint sensor that baffles us by its very placement – which is on the rear of the device. Its rival the Huawei Nexus 2015 will come with a larger 3,500 mAh battery. In the video, the fingerprint scanner was located at the rear panel, USB Type -C charging slot and sleek body was seen.
