Samsung’s already unveiled the Note 7, right?

In related news, the Samsung exec said that they are thinking about piloting the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage Galaxy Note 7 for the Chinese market. At its recent Note 7 launch event, Samsung execs made a point of explaining that the device has a headphone jack – taking a dig at Apple over rumors that the new iPhone will ditch the port. Though slightly less reliable than the S7 Edge’s battery, the Note 7’s still trounces that found in the iPhone 6S Plus, while the S Pen is more responsive than either Apple’s Pencil or Microsoft’s Surface Pen.
The Note 7 features a 5.7-inch, 2560×1440 display, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage that’s expandable via microSD. The phone comes with the mighty Snapdragon 820 chipset inside, with some variants coming with Exynos 8890. The Note 7 is getting a critical security update, while the S6 and S6 Edge should see improved Wi-Fi calls. The issue is that the promotion, which offers a free Gear Fit 2, 256GB microSD card, or year of Netflix, runs from August 3 through August 28.
The Note 7 also feature an iris scanner, along with a fingerprint scanner. A 5-megapixel sensor for the front snapper is included. The Edge screen also makes the cut as the screen edges bleed through the bezels. The comparison was pretty obvious, and now Motorola is flat-out accusing Samsung of stealing the feature.
So here’s the thing: the Galaxy Note 7 comes with several “sealed” components that makes the device, what it is.
The iris scanner allows users to unlock the device through the recognition of their eyes – the first such application for a Samsung smartphone. The Gear VR is the company’s new iteration of the virtual reality headset. It’s also water resistant and relatively light at just 169g.
