Obito may have been wounded and even let out his last breath during the fight against Princess Kaguya in “Naruto Shippuden” episode 472, but his battle isn’t over and he is set to give the final blow in the next episode. With the anime following the source material once more, it appears like Studio Pierrot, the production company behind the anime adaptation of Naruto Shippuden, is finally starting to wrap up the series. As fans of the manga know, the finale of Naruto Shippuden would feature a brutal, no-holds-barred fight between Naruto and Sasuke, which would end with both fighters being permanently maimed. It is said that the next episode will begin with Obito requestion Rin to wait a little bit longer, noting that he needed to help Kakashi in the ongoing battle. Obito then reappeared to an obviously startled Kakashi.
Naruto Shippuden has pleasantly surprised fans of the long-running anime for a few weeks now, as the plot of the series shifted once more to the manga’s canon. This is hinted by his request to Rin that he will just make one more brief detour. Episode 473 preview will be posted once available. The flashback will take viewers back to the time when Obito dreamed of becoming the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. Now with two Sharingans, Kakashi’s power is heightened.

In episode 473 called “The Sharingan Revived”, Obito and Rin have reverted to their younger selves in the afterlife, and while Rin is telling Obito to go, the fighter says that he has to come back and help his friends for the last time.
