The State Fire Marshal has been called to the scene at 3615 S. Business Drive.

Volunteers are providing meals and snacks for affected residents along with a place to stay.

Fire fighters spent several hours battling the fire, and were up on the roof of the building opening holes to vent heat and smoke.

Fire officials are still working to figure out the cause of the fire, but they say it likely started in one of the apartments. Red Cross is also providing comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving supplies and other personal hygiene items.
