Fourth test heads for draw as no play on penultimate day
A wet outfield has caused the abandonment of the penultimate day of the fourth and final Test between West Indies and India at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad on Sunday.

Match officials called off play at 10:25 a.m. after inspecting the ground. India would conclude their West Indies tour by playing two T-20 matches on the 27th and 28th of this month.
West Indies entered the game trailing 0-2 in the series and hoping for an elusive win, in order to salvage some pride.
With just one day to play, a draw is nearly a certainty. But that looks impossible at this juncture, with threat of more rain and the ground in poor state.
Instead, Pakistan will become number one on Monday.
Only 22 overs have been possible in the match so far which is a dead rubber of sorts with India having already secured the series 2-0 after victories at Antigua and St Kitts.
This was the second consecutive day when play was called off without a ball being bowled.
The former dismissed Leon Johnson (9), caught at short leg by Rohit Sharma, and the latter bowled Darren Bravo (10) with a lovely off-break delivery.
The sun was shining down in the morning, but as had been the case over the previous two days, the wet outfield and the lack of resources at the stadium to deal with it was the problem.

From the point of view of the Indian team, looking to maintain their no.1 Test ranking, this fourth Test has been a near farcical exercise.
