The “Pottermore Presents” series is now available for pre-order across on Pottermore as well as a variety of digital platforms, including Barnes & Noble, Amazon, iBooks and Kobo Books.
These stories will be made up of a collection of the author’s previous writing for Pottermore as well as some new stories about some well-loved characters from Hogwarts. Or chief executive, for the muggles out there.
The Pottermore Presents collections are set to be available September 6.
Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide isn’t quite as arduous a read as Hogwarts: A History, but that’s probably for the best.
Harry Potter on the go?
Pottermore, the digital publishing and e-commerce world founded by Rowling for fans of the boy wizard, said on Wednesday it would be releasing three short ebooks starting Sept 6.
Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies profiles two of the Harry Potter stories’ most courageous and iconic characters: Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin.
Collectively dubbed ‘Pottermore Presents’, the new books will combine short stories from the Pottermore website with new writing from Rowling.
The first book, Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide, will reveal new information about ghosts at the wizarding school, and what happens when the Sorting Hat can’t make a decision about where to place students. The longest of these e-books is 79 pages.
A further spinoff of the Potter universe, the prequel film “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them“, is set for worldwide release in November.

The series of ebook shorts is called Pottermore Presents, and it is described as “bite-sized” tales that “dig deep into the Harry Potter stories”.
