“The night race at Bristol is one of the coolest events of the year and a must-see for fans”, Larson said.

Due to heavy rains at Bristol, last night’s NASCAR Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race was postponed and rescheduled for this afternoon.
The 8 p.m. start was delayed more than an hour, then the race was red-flagged for almost 90 minutes after 38 laps. Eastern and the race will be televised by NBC Sports Network (NBCSN).
Finally, the call came for racers to return to their cars by 4:20 p.m., the engines were fired up and the drivers began rolling out of pit road a short time later.
In the booth Saturday evening at Bristol will be Rick Allen, Jeff Burton and Steve Letarte. “So I think we’ve learned that and done a good job at really taking our notes and understanding what those items are and making sure we have them in our race auto”.
Dillon thought the Keselowski-Busch dustup might increase the walk-up sales for Saturday night’s next round.
Busch told NBCsports.com that the Rochester Hills native is a dirty driver after the race, while Keselowski said Busch would have raced him the same way.
Dover International Speedway is adding more than 500 feet of SAFER barriers in time for the Sprint Cup race in October. In fact, it was Ty Dillon, who emerged on top when that trio raced three-wide on Bristol’s slippery, tight track. Earnhardt has missed four races and will sit out tonight’s race at Bristol as he recovers from a concussion.

“We haven’t really even got going so I think until we get some laps and get racing it is really kind of hard to say how it’s going to go”, said Chase Elliott, who will restart second to leader Kyle Busch. The regular season concludes after Bristol with races at MI on August 28, Darlington on September 4 and Richmond on September 10. As impressive as drivers like Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth and Kyle Larson have been at Bristol, all three finished outside the top 30 in the April race, and there are going to be some big names that have big trouble again this weekend. He enters Saturday’s race with seven finishes of 11th or better in his last eight starts, including four top-five finishes in his last five starts.
