Though in the beginning months of 2015, the sector appeared to have been operating smoothly, this morning, the automobile manufacturing industry was shaken up once again after Volkswagen announced that it is recalling almost 420,000 cars in the United States due to a flaw that could prevent airbags from deploying.

The recall affects various VW models, including the Golf, Jetta and Passat, with model years between 2010 and 2014, the company said.

On certain vehicles, the guiding veer timepiece leap can become plagued by very long hair style or prolonged products which might make a disintegration of this very inside lead weaves. When the guide loops are dragged out of position, they may apply tension to the internal flat cable and cause it to tear. The toxins may rip off the cable tv and spark a shortage of electric into the driver’s anterior sky packaging. If that happens, the air bags won’t deploy in crash.

No accidents or injuries related to this issue have been reported, the company said.
