NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Bristol underway after long delay

Racing is back in Bristol for the 56th annual Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The No. 4 driver set the pace and led 128 laps to win the weather-delayed Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race almost 24 hours after it was scheduled to finish.

Check out the full results from the rain-delayed race below. The race was red-flagged due to rain.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished second, with Denny Hamlin third, Austin Dillon fourth and rookie Chris Buescher fifth.

Kyle Busch will start the restarted race on Sunday from pole as he was leading the field by the time of the stoppage on lap 48 of the scheduled 500.

All four Gibbs’ drivers remained in the top seven with Edwards sliding down from No. 1 to seventh.

The No. 4 driver won his second race of the season and first in Bristol since 2005 with a little help from inclement weather.
