The “Trap Queen” rapper will be releasing his debut album on September 25, according to the Associated Press.

“I’m just waiting for it to get mixed and mastered”, the 24-year-old told AP.

Drake hopping on the remix of Fetty Wap’s “My Way” is not the last time we will hear these two on wax together.

“Our industry is lacking on a wholesale level of artist development…and we feel that [Wap is] just so brilliant and has developed this new style, new sound”, Cohen said. “Hello”, because Fetty Wap finally made an appearance in Kansas City.

Wap grew up in Paterson, New Jersey. The two performed a rendition of “Trap Queen” on Saturday, August 8 (Watch Below).

Though “Trap Queen” was released in March 2014, it didn’t begin charting until February of this year, and ever since, Fetty’s career has risen along with the smash hit. “It’s not a redundant thing”.

Wap says he’s learning a great deal from Cohen – especially outside of music.

“I just did an interview…they asked me who I wanted to make a song with”.

Back in May, Fetty Wap detailed how the “My Way” remix with Drake came to be.
