On the back of the device is a circular fingerprint sensor that makes the S6s even more secure. This handset, unlike some of the previous Gionee-branded smartphones, sports a rather boxy design.

It has a 13-MP rear camera and an 8-MP front with flash. The S6s features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone will be available online via Amazon India, as well as offline via the company’s retail partners.
The predecessor Gionee S6 was launched back in February and now, the Gionee S6s comes with a front-facing flash to assist in selfie captures in low light conditions. Though the Chinese company has not revealed its price, an e-retailer earlier claimed that the phone will cost Rs 17,999. With a crystal clear 13.97cm (5.5-inch) IPS FHD display, S6s infuses the interface experience with never before awesome visuals.
Gionee had previously launched the S6 past year at a price of Rs 19,999. This smartphone is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor running at 1.3GHz, along with the Mali-T720 GPU. With 5.5-inch screen display, the S6s is power packed with a 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and expandable memory up to 128 GB.
The device has 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB and runs on Amigo 3.2 user interface on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and houses 3,150mAh battery. It said that initially only the gold colour variant will be available but later on other colour models will be added.
This is a dual-SIM device which also supports dual standby. On the front is an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and OTG support.
