From 4-7 p.m., a stream of cars from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, and Pennsylvania turned into the funeral-home parking lot on Wanoosnoc Road to pay their respects to Marcotte, a 27-year-old Google account executive who lived in New York but came home often to visit her family.
Runners have gathered to remember a New York City woman who was found dead a week ago after she went for a run near her mother’s MA home. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery, Narrows Road, Westminster. Since her death August 7, Massachusetts State Police have not made any arrests in spite of receiving more than 600 tips. She was visiting her mother in the town of Princeton when she chose to take a jog. Her body was found by a police K-9 that night.

A Google representative described Marcotte in a statement as “a much loved member of the Google team” who was “known for her ubiquitous smile, passion for volunteer work and love of Boston sports”. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the tip line at 508-453-7589. They also think that she struggled with her attacker, leading authorities to look for a suspect with fresh scratches, bruises or other cuts. Her body was found about a half mile from her mother’s house.
