Police say a 37-year-old New Hampshire man was crushed to death this weekend after a vehicle he was working under fell on top of him.

Emergency crews responded to reports that someone was trapped under the auto near Maple Street after the vehicle appeared to be off the roadway leading into the park. Police say fire crews had to life the auto off the man.
Police have not yet identified the victim who they say is from the Claremont/Charlestown area.
Police said it appeared that the victim was working on his vehicle and, while working under it, the equipment he was using came loose and the auto fell on him.

The incident remains under investigation.
