Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston reunite in new Thor

Parts of the city have been transformed to look like NY – complete with yellow taxis and United States police cars.

The character has been off-screen since Thor: The Dark World, but Hiddleston has teased his return, with this on set image of him back in costume.

Hollywood stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, who are in Australian filming the latest edition of the movie Thor, have created chaos and a traffic jam as hundreds of star-struck fans thronged Brisbane’s central business district.

“Thor: Raganarok” has a November 3, 2017 release directed by Taika Waititi starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk/Banner, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.

Now filming in Australia, Thor: Ragnarok will largely take place well away from planet Earth according to Marvel.

New York City taxis have arrived in Brisbane for the Thor:Ragnarok filming.

Margaret Street will be closed between George St and Edward St from 4pm August 21 until 3am August 22 and then the section between the Riverside Expressway and Edward Street (with both off ramps from the Riverside Expressway also closed) from 3am August 22 until 9pm that night.
