Trump insults voters of Pennsylvania

Ray Flores, a Hispanic Trump supporter at Saturday’s rally, said of the presidential hopeful’s message, “I think it should resonate not only with African-American voters, but with Hispanic voters, as well”.

Similarly, Eric Fehrnstrom, a top adviser to Mitt Romney, the Republican nominee in that campaign, says that surrogates “can be hugely helpful because they amplify the usual voices coming from the campaign” and “add credibility”.

The Democratic nominee’s leading surrogates include two US presidents, a vice president, a popular first lady and two favorites of the young voters she has struggled to attract.

“What do you have to lose by trying something new, like Trump?”

But a problem for Trump could be where his money is coming from.

Trump is left running from behind while also defending traditional Republican strongholds such as Georgia, where a recent Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll suggests even that may be in play for Clinton. Clinton’s operation also spent almost $5 million to pay 705 staffers in July and $2 million on travel. He has accused Mexico of sending rapists and criminals across the border, and has vowed to deport all of the estimated 11 million people living in the US illegally.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, badly trailing Democratic contender Hillary Clinton among minority voters, is making a new pitch to court support among African-Americans and Hispanics.

Mr Trump was also aided by weaknesses in his party – as was Bernie Sanders, who fought Mrs Clinton for the Democratic nomination – Mr Moran claimed.

“Donald Trump has been disciplined and mature”.

Donald Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort resigned on Friday in the wake of campaign shakeup and revelations about his work in Ukraine.

That team includes Stephen Bannon, a combative conservative media executive with no presidential campaign experience, and pollster Kellyanne Conway, who has known Trump for years.

A new style was immediately evident as Trump, in a first, offered regrets for any remarks that had caused offense, stuck with his teleprompter at a series of events, and paid a visit to flood-ravaged Louisiana.

Republicans have pressed to keep the issue of Mrs Clinton’s email use alive after the FBI closed its investigation last month without recommending criminal charges. He noted that the “GOP is the party of Abraham Lincoln” and said, “I want our party to be a home of the African-American voter once again”. Looking at cash on hand, the Clinton campaign began August with $58.5 million, while Trump had $38.4 million. “We’re not seeing a pivot”.

He noted the party’s history, with the first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln, freeing slaves in the mid-1800s.

While Trump is villain unmoored from truth, decency, and several of his hair follicles, that doesn’t necessarily excuse Mook’s fear-mongering, conspiratorial tone (Trump and his associates do have some ties to Russia).

The Trump campaign has also said it would rely heavily on RNC organization on the ground across the country, rather than building out entirely new infrastructure for the campaign.

“Listen, I’ve said what my position is”, she said with slight exasperation during an interview at a campaign stop in her hometown of Nashua to help volunteers stuff care packages for overseas military troops.

Conway had said Sunday that Trump “doesn’t hurl personal insults”.
