A National Weather Service in Louisville tweet said at approximately 8 p.m. that NWS personnel would be surveying the damage Sunday.

FOX25’s Shiri Spear tracked the storm live on air while FOX25’s Stephanie Coueignoux, Jessica Reyes and Daniel Miller reported the damage from the field.

So far survey teams have only released complete damage information on an EF1 tornado that struck Ionia and Montcalm Counties and a brief EF0 tornado that touched down three miles northeast of downtown Grand Rapids.

Shirley said there was also damage to a barn and a report of a funnel cloud reported in the Hiseville area and then a report of a funnel cloud along USA 68-Ky.

EF1 is the second lowest of six tornado levels.

More than 1,000 customers across the state are without power, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency.

Concord fire officials say 39 homes sustained some sort of damage, but only one suffered significant structural damage.

In a microburst, downed trees and other debris usually always lands in the same direction- creating the appearance that trees were “flattened”.
