Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway says mass deportations ‘to be determined’

A top aide to Donald Trump said on Sunday the Republican presidential nominee’s plans to deport 11 million people who are in the United States illegally were a work in progress and that he was committed to a “fair and humane” approach on immigration.

The Republican nominee met with a Hispanic advisory council in NY on Saturday, where Buzzfeed News reported that Trump promised a “humane and efficient” way to work with those living in the US without papers. And some Republicans believe he is effectively out of time to invest in the kind of large-scale infrastructure that the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, will bring to the polls in November.

Looking into Clinton Foundation donations: Clinton’s campaign manager said Sunday that foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation will take some time to wind down, when asked about its plan to forgo that money if she is elected president, reports CNN. “That’s just plain fact”, the Alabama lawmaker said.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign is reserving an additional $80 million for fall campaign ads in eight battleground states. He has promised to carry out mass deportations and build a wall on the U.S. -Mexico border, proposals that critics have assailed as inhumane and too costly and unrealistic to achieve. The only thing missing is a picture of Trump wearing a Russian language Make America Great Again baseball cap. Still, Trump continued to rail against the impact of illegal immigration, claiming that an influx to the state of Virginia was putting “enormous pressure” on local schools and public services.

“I’m not flip-flopping”, Trump insisted in a phone call on Fox News. “So we’re talking about territories”.

What’s going on with Evan McMullin’s run for president?

“He lets people fill in the blanks mentally for what they think he’s saying, not what he’s actually saying”, Wilson said. Or just “bomb the hell out of ISIS”, using a common acronym for the group. “There’s a web of financial interests that have not been disclosed”, he said.

On guns, Trump implied that he wants to arm intoxicated clubgoers and bar patrons – an idea that concerned even the National Rifle Association – then later insisted he “was obviously talking about additional guards or employees”. The portrayal of unity appears to be a coordinated effort to move past the previous disagreements between the RNC and Trump’s campaign. He explained that it was decided that when a Trump company owned 100 percent of a property, all of the associated debt would be disclosed, something that he said went beyond what the law required. “If you have a position, that doesn’t mean that there is not a better alternative. Sometimes you want to negotiate”.

Trump’s team said they’re still discussing whether to accept the debate schedule laid out for the fall. “And we’re working with a lot of people in the Hispanic community to try and come up with an answer”.

“He addressed the immigration issue himself and said, ‘Look, I know it’s an issue”.

“To be determined”, said Conway, who in the past has supported creating a pathway to citizenship for the millions of immigrants illegally living in the United States.
