Rio 2016: ‘Queues’ form for selfies with Simone Biles during closing ceremony

All officially announced the closing ceremony of 31st Olympiad few hours back, the closing ceremony is so colorful which took nearly three and half hours.

The colourful service, lasting almost three hours, observed the arts of Brazil and was held in a wet Maracana.

One of the highlights were a lively carnival parade and Tokyo’s remarkable showcase.

“The venues in the Olympic Park, including Carioca Arenas 1, 2 and 3, Maria Lenk Aquatics Center, gymnastics center and tennis center, will be kept permanently, and become the national sports center after refurbishment”, said Mario Andrada, Rio Olympics spokesman.

“Over the last 16 days a united Brazil inspired the world, in hard times for all of us, with its irresistible joy for life”.

Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike accepted the Olympic flag on behalf of the 2020 host city from Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes through the hands of International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach during the official handover ceremony.

Confetti falls during the closing ceremony in the Maracana stadium Sunday. So finally we should wait for more long 4 years for next Olympics in Toyko and everyone left with lot of joyfulness and after completion of these prestigious competition Rio Olympics.
