West Hartford Police Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect pictured above and there is a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to his arrest.
The second robbery was reported from First Niagara Bank at 55 South Main St. There, employees said that a white male, approximately 50 years old, showed a note to a teller demanding money, and saying he would shoot the teller.
On August 13, the same white man returned to the TD Bank and showed note demanding money. In both robberies, it was not know how the suspect fled from the area.
Officers searched the area with the help of a New Britain police K-9 unit, but could not find the suspect.

The man is described as white, approximately six feet tall, with a thin build wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, gray sweat trousers, purple latex gloves, carrying an orange gym/knapsack type drawstring bag. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jeremy Tangarone at 860-523-2146. As of late Friday, they did not have any further description of the man other than what’s seen in the photos.
