Trump accuses Clinton of election fraud
The Clintons’ prior tax returns showed that from 2007 through 2014, the couple made $139.1 million – much of it from paid speeches.

In 2015, the Clinton’s paid $3.24 million in federal income taxes, amounting to effective tax rate as 34%, according to the Clinton campaign.
“He refuses to do what every other presidential candidate in decades has done and release his tax returns”, she told the crowd.
But given the high tax rate they show the Clintons paying, Trump might not be so eager to release filings that could show him making far smaller payments to the IRS.
The Republican and Democratic candidates in the last nine presidential elections – since Ronald Reagan in 1980 – have released tax returns at least for the previous year, according to Politifact.
But billionaire Mr Trump has declined to release his, arguing that his tax returns for the past several years are being audited.
“If you didn’t see the tax returns, you would think there is nearly, like, something wrong”, Trump says in a clip included in the video.
It is customary for USA presidential candidates to make their tax returns public, although they are not required by law to do so.
“Hillary Clinton has turned over the only records nobody wants to see from her – the American public wants to see the 33,000 emails she deleted to obstruct an FBI investigation”, said Trump spokesman Jason Miller.
Trump’s critics, including 2012 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and other fellow Republicans, have said his refusal raises questions about his net worth, his charitable contributions, his business dealings and other ties, including with Russian Federation.
Clinton’s positions shifted to the left during her hard-fought primary campaign against self-described Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders, and she has promised a minimum wage of 15 dollars per hour for workers.
The Clintons took in $10.6 million in income in 2015, a majority of which came from paid speeches by Bill Clinton, while $3 million came from book royalties.
Her campaign also released 10 years of returns from running mate Tim Kaine and his wife Anne Holton.
Democrats believe Trump’s returns could be treasure trove of politically damaging information. The Clintons also donated roughly a tenth (9.8 percent) of their annual income to charity.
“Every single one of these incidences shows us that Donald Trump simply does not have the temperament to be president and commander in chief of the USA”, she said”.
When the two major candidates for president are both wealthy beyond the imagination of most Americans, do their tax returns matter?

“I know so many families that have been destroyed by the death tax”, he said.
