Shut Down Clinton Foundation ‘Immediately’

Donald Trump, not trusting the FBI and Justice Department probes into Hillary Clinton, is calling for an “expedited investigation by a special prosecutor” into the Democratic presidential nominee’s time at the State Department.

State Department spokesman Mark Toner said the Federal Bureau of Investigation had handed over about 14,900 new emails to the department, both personal and government-related, that would be made public.

In light of the accusations levied against Clinton, her campaign said that the foundation would stop receiving foreign and corporate donations if she is elected in November.

Host Kimmel asked Clinton to open a jar of pickles to show she was in good health as she brushed off a scandal over emails sent from a private server when she was secretary of state. The Justice Department investigated her practices and concluded there was no basis to recommend charges be brought against her, although FBI Director James Comey called her handling of the emails “extremely careless”. “Nobody has ever seen anything like it before”.

Trump’s appeal came the same day a conservative watchdog group, Judicial Watch, released 725 pages of State Department documents, including some it said were examples of preferential treatment provided to donors at the request of former Clinton Foundation executive Douglas Band.

Pence told a crowd Monday at a manufacturing facility in Cedar Rapids that Clinton must shut down the Clinton Foundation immediately.

“It’s time for Hillary Clinton to come clean about the Clinton Foundation”, Pence said to applause from an audience at Modern Companies Inc., which cuts metal and other materials.

Clinton said the discussions about her health are a distraction from her efforts to talk about jobs, college affordability and prescription drug prices.

The Trump campaign has attempted to keep the spotlight fixed on Clinton’s troubles, but his own gaffes have continued to get in the way.

On Monday morning, Trump pushed back against the idea that he was “flip-flopping” on immigration, after reports that he told Hispanic leaders over the weekend that he wouldn’t have a deportation force to deal with the nation’s estimated 11 million illegal immigrants.

For the first time in almost a month, Trump finds himself ahead of Clinton, the LA Times/USC Dornsife poll found, suggesting a possible narrowing of the race.

Republican Party chairman Reince Priebus (ryns PREE’-bus) said Sunday that “Donald Trump has been disciplined and mature”.

A firewall was supposed to have been in place to ensure that the foundation’s work remained completely separate from Hillary Clinton’s role as head of United States diplomacy, but critics said that barrier was permeable at best. “I have to step into the alternative reality and, you know, answer questions about, am I alive, how much longer will I be alive, and the like”.
