Earlier this month, Hillary for Missouri said new analysis suggests Missouri could add 197,000 jobs under Clinton’s economic plans, while it could lose 64,000 jobs under a Trump presidency. “If he wasn’t hitting this nerve with a broad spectrum of people out in the countryside, then given the kind of candidate he is and the kind of campaign he’s run he wouldn’t be anywhere”.
That lead is virtually the same as what polls showed immediately after the Democratic National Convention bumped Clinton to the lead. Running mate Mike Pence often uses the word “broad-shouldered” to describe Trump’s leadership and foreign policy style, a tacit swipe at Clinton.
With Trumps racist and xenophobic rhetoric, not to mention his history of business bankruptcies – his hotels and casinos have declared bankruptcy four times – it’s hard to believe that the Republican presidential hopeful would be able to do anything for black voters, the inner city, or the economy.

Clinton’s campaign has tried to dismiss the attack.

“Her people have been trying to pin it on me”, Mr. Powell said over the weekend in an interview published Sunday night. Trump will, however, attend a fundraiser in Aspen, according to the Post.
