Trump’s weaknesses extend beyond traditional swing states like Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida: They also include Republican strongholds like Arizona, FiveThirtyEight forecasts show.

In 2000, when Mr Trump was considering running as an independent candidate, he said: “It’s very possible that I could be the first presidential candidate to run and make money on it”.

“I have to sort of step into the alternative reality and, you know, answer questions about am I alive?” she said incredulously, referring to the health rumors.

“I am not going to put them in a detention centre”.

Conway said Trump wants to aid Americans who are frustrated about competing for jobs with those in the country illegally, and that he plans to do so by simply enforcing laws already in place. “We just had a poll come out, the “Los Angeles Times” that has us two points ahead”.

“Obviously, losing would be disastrous, because his entire brand is built around not doing that”, Oliver said, and losing to Hillary Clinton, specifically, “wouldn’t just be off-brand, it would be brand-destroying”.

The payments, though unusual when Trump was self-funding, were supposedly made for Trump campaign events held there.

Perhaps feeling a little left out, Trump’s opponent, Hillary Clinton chose to try being outrageous for a change on a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. With just this issue in mind, I asked Trump in CNBC’s Speakeasy interview previous year how he would address disappointment among his backers if he makes it to the Oval Office. “If they don’t have any more staff, and they’re paying five times more?”
