IHOP selling $1 pancakes to raise money for child hunger

Tuesday stores offered $1 short stacks of pancakes with 100 percent of proceeds going to benefit the “No Kid Hungry” organization.

The goal, according to the IHOP website, is to serve at least one million short stacks of pancakes in one day. You agree that you are exclusively responsible for your communications and any content you provide.

The dine-in only promotion is not valid with other coupons or discounts and is limited to one per guest.

Today, Aug. 23, IHOP restaurants are offering a sweet deal for a good cause. That translates into more kids doing better in class, missing less school, and becoming more likely to graduate high school. More than 16 million children suffer from hunger nationwide.

“Statistically, I had read that one out of every five children lacked the food that they deserved”, said Spaid.
