Donald Trump Shakes Up Campaign Team
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump brought in a new campaign CEO and promoted a pollster to campaign manager after a tumultuous few weeks that have seen the GOP contender’s poll numbers drop amid a series of controversies.

Trump told Fox News that the shooting in Milwaukee may have occurred because the officer had a gun to his head.
Conway also said Paul Manafort, who’s been Trump’s de facto campaign manager, will remain in his role as campaign chairman and his deputy, Rick Gates, will remain in a senior role.
Conway, a longtime Republican strategist and pollster, joined Trump’s campaign earlier this year as a senior adviser and quickly earned Trump’s trust.
The Trump campaign also started aggressively raising money fairly late.
Both Bannon and Conway have close ties to Republican megadonor Robert Mercer, who leads a NY hedge fund. Mercer has investments in Breitbart News.
Clinton told supporters at a rally in Cleveland that Trump “can hire and fire anyone he wants”.
“Mr. Trump doesn’t trust him anymore”.
Mr Lewandowski, now a paid CNN commentator, has denied that it was the case, and he and Mr Trump still speak frequently, with the candidate seeking his advice.
She added: “There is no new Donald Trump, this is it”. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. “They’re rapists.” The site commended Trump for forcing the media to stop “ignoring the problem of illegal immigrant criminality” and doing a “spectacular job of changing the debate on illegal immigration to exactly where it should be”.
Coming on the heels of weeks of sliding polls and campaign turmoil, the moves represent something of a demotion for Manafort, who was originally brought in to manage Trump’s delegate operations but rose to command almost all aspects of the campaign after Lewandowski’s ouster. “Maybe her role will be to prepare Trump for this loss”.
The moves were first reported by the Wall Street Journal. Imagine the outcry if white attorneys from MS, such as this author, started a legal association called “The Race” with the stated mission to promote the interest of white, Southern communities.
Schneider said you’ll have to ask anti-Trump Republicans why they’re not backing the party’s nominee. He’s a former Goldman Sachs banker, a movie producer whose film, “Sweetwater” was described by Hollywood Reporter as a “venal loony bin” and a loud cheerleader for anything Donald Trump says or wants. And this is a concept the voters understand. “The Washington Post cited campaign aides as saying that while Trump respected Manafort, he felt “‘boxed in” and “controlled’ by people “who barely knew him”.
“It’s nearly a throwback to an era when media outlets and political organizations were closely aligned”, Rosenstiel said.
By validating Hillary’s race card, Republican leaders have exhibited one of the worst examples of Stockholm syndrome. A growing number of Republican elected and appointed officials as well as major donors urge the RNC to cut Trump off from financial or other support and concentrate instead on House and Senate races where losses could change control.
“According to several people briefed on the discussions, the presumptive Republican nominee is examining the opportunity presented by the “audience” now supporting him”, Vanity Fair’s Sarah Ellison reported.
