Sacramento Bee in its editorial “Hillary Clinton Must Steer Clear Of Foundation”, write that it was necessary, and overdue, for former President Bill Clinton to make clear that if Hillary Clinton is elected president, his global foundation will no longer take money from corporations or foreign governments.

Clinton’s doctor said past year she is in “excellent” health. Clinton says she isn’t anxious, though.
In an earlier statement, Trump called the Clinton Foundation “the most corrupt enterprise in political history”. “And I’m embarrassed about that”, said Clinton.
Foundation officials have resisted some calls for them to shut down altogether.
“It must be shut down immediately”, Trump said.
“Anything we can do to put her character forefront in the campaign is going to help Donald Trump”, Collins said in a phone interview.
Republican Chairman Reince Preibus said if Trump continues to remain “measured”, he could be “tied or ahead” in the polls by the first week in September. “On the other hand, it just absolutely makes no sense”. I don’t go around questioning Donald Trump’s health.
While Trump and his campaign have been bombarding the cable news outlets with theories about Clinton’s health, the Democratic nominee has largely remained silent, opting, as she has since the Democratic National Convention, to give Trump as many chances as possible to gaffe away support.
Democrats are hopeful Trump is making an issue of the foundation too late for it to make a difference.
John Podesta, the chair of Hillary for America, said that Trump in-turn should disclose his own business dealings. Not unusual for a U.S. ally to get a meeting with the secretary of state, but an indicator that someone who donates to or is a “good friend” of the Clinton Foundation could get a meeting more easily than someone who isn’t.

The Aug. 18-22 poll showed that 45 percent of voters supported Clinton, while 33 percent backed Trump ahead of the November 8 election. In an editorial titled Donations by Access Boston Herald said the latest bunch of Clinton-era State Department emails released on Monday provide a host of instances in which donations to the Clinton Foundation netted the donors access to the secretary herself on an expedited basis.
