Latest round of Apple rumors: iPhone 7 “Plus” in, “Pro” out
Is Apple saving the “Pro” variant for its new lineup of iPhones slated to be released next year?

The company was not entirely sure about including their new dual-lens camera feature in all of its iPhone 7 Plus models.
IHS Display Search senior director David Hsiech has also supported this entitlement which Nikkei’s source said, further he elaborated that Apple is appointing Samsung to be its key supplier of OLED display panels, as stated by Apple Insider. The confirmation ends months of speculation about the iPhone 7 release date after it was first reported that the Cupertino, a California-based company, would be sticking to the usual September launch for its iPhone line.
Talking about the hot news, or i should say irony, Samsung will be the only supplier of OLED screens to Apple. An OLED display offers sharper color contrast, better power efficiency, and better viewing angles compared to the LCD technology. The South Korean conglomerate was the global leader in smartphone shipments previous year and in the first quarter of 2016 and the only smartphone maker that offers curved OLED displays. With the iPhone 7 allegedly due for release this September – earlier than many will have predicted – some sources are claiming that the latest model of Apple’s smartphone may not be as game-changing as it would have you believe. You might have heard about an the “iPhone Pro”, the name has been passed around quite liberally this year, but what you might not know is that the iPhone Pro is planned for NEXT YEAR, not this year, as previously rumoured.
As the trend of the high-definition camera is overwhelming the designing factor of Smartphones, Apple is assured not to lag behind the trend.
The 4.7-inch iPhone 7 will have a single lens camera, while the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus will have a dual lens camera, according to a person familiar with the matter.
A combination of design and hardware changes will make the iPhone 8 the most radical new iPhone to date, going by the rumours and leaks anyway. And now there’s evidence the screen on the top-tier model will be curved. This suggests that there will be more Apple accessories to support the iPhone 7 Plus. A new report coming out of Asia reveals that Apple will launch three versions of iPhone 8, but only one of them will have a curved OLED screen.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request to confirm the report.
