Defending Premier League champions Leicester City are chasing their first win of the 2016-17 EPL season when they take on Arsenal, also hunting their first victory.
Mahrez played a pivotal role in Leicester surprising everyone and winning the league title last season, and Claudio Ranieri has been desperate to hold on to the Algerian. “They kept a lot of possession but we created clear chances”, said Ranieri. “I’m very happy to be here and I know the club is happy to sign me, so I thank them as well”. Jamie Vardy will look to continue his good run of form against the Gunners after he scored three goals in the two meetings last season, including two goals at the King Power Stadium.

Arsenal have not lost to Leicester in the league since November 1994, but Koscielny’s experience and pace could well be needed against a Leicester attack that includes Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.
“If you consider the number of goals and assists he had, he had the best combination in the league”. Mahrez was said to be keen on joining Arsenal despite the clubs not being in advance talks for him.
With Wes Morgan standing out at the heart of the defense, Leicester sported a relentless work rate reminiscent of last season, something which they lacked in their 2-1 season-opening loss at Hull.
