Lodha Panel to have meeting on 28 Aug
Despite these recommendations, the BCCI is set to go ahead with its Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held on September 21.

“In the light of several complaints received, Lodha Committee will have an emergent meeting on Sunday 28 August in New Delhi”, a source close to the panel told PTI today.
However, the validity of the AGM will depend on the Lodha Committee as it can term the meeting null and void as per the Supreme Court verdict passed on July 18.
In the 14-page report, Shirke writes that the meeting was conducted in a cordial manner and he had informed the committee of BCCI’s decision to file a review petition.
“I was at a loss for words to describe the anger and pain that I felt at this accusation made by the secretary to the Lodha Committee against our selectors, past and present, and the selectors of our state associations and against the BCCI office bearers”, the report said. “The ACC asked about the possible implications of such interference”, said the BJP MP from Himachal Pradesh.
However, BCCI has chose to file Compliance Report as a failure would be seen as Contempt of Court. “We have already filed a review petition”, he said. The implementation part starts after that. According to a report in the Indian Express, BCCI Secretary Ajay Shirke, in an email to President Anurag Thakur, has claimed that Gopal Sankaranarayanan, who is the Lodha committee Secretary, accused the BCCI of being “mute spectator to corrupt practices” and levelled accusations against selectors of taking sexual favours.
Pakistan were scheduled to host traditional rivals India for a three match ODI series at the neutral venue of United Arab Emirates (UAE) later this year.
In an email to board president Anurag Thakur, BCCI secretary Ajay Shirke complained about Sankarnarayanan’s comments, made at a meeting on August 9 between Lodha committee members and the Indian cricket board.
Among the other decisions taken, the daily allowance for the India Under-19 boys team and senior India women team was increased and fixed at par with the senior India men team. “All of them will get 125 Dollars per day on global tours and equivalent of 100 USD in the home series”, the BCCI said in a statement.
