But the Iranian regime said Russian Federation had been using the base for months and decided last week to make its presence public.
Iran accused Russia of having publicized the deal on using the air base excessively, that’s why on Monday, permission given to Russians to use the Iranian air base, is annulled.
The meeting comes after Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held key talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Binali Yildirim in Ankara on August 12, pledging to fight terrorism.
Earlier this week, Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said the military had accomplished its targets against the IS forces in Syria.
Sergey Zhigarev, first deputy chairman of Russian State Duma Defense Committee, said Russia’s use of Hamedan airbase was only for a short time.
It was the first time Russian Federation has used the territory of another nation, apart from Syria itself, to launch such strikes since Moscow started a bombing campaign against the IS in September previous year.
Speaking at a session of the parliament on August 23, Larijani suggested Russian bombers were still using the military base in Hamadan. Dehghan over the weekend said Russia’s use of the air base was not their concern, though parliament has oversight of all government ministries.
As on Sunday evening, Russian Tupolev Tu-22M3 strategic long-range bombers and Sukhoi Su-34 strike jet fighters were seen leaving the Shahid Nojeh Air Base airbase in Hamedan, Iran and heading home. But it said the use was not a permanent arrangement, but the result of “limited cooperation”.
Syria has been gripped by civil war since March 2011 with various terrorist groups, including Daesh (also known as ISIS or ISIL), now controlling parts of it.

The Syrian Center for Policy Research, however, put the death toll from the six-year conflict at more than 470,000 people.
