Fans have heard about “Street King Immortal” for years now. It’s a two-minute track where 50 Cent lethargically waxes about catching a bullet (the title is reference to the infamous 2000 shooting that left him with a lisp) being a metaphor for romance. The album has been delayed several times and is still without a release date.
9 Shots will also be featured in Saturday’s season finale of Power, the 50 Cent-produced drama on Starz. Prior to the song’s start, the rapper explained that he was inspired to write “9 Shots” after being exposed to a lot of new music during his recent EFFEN Vodka promotional tour.

The shooter, 50 told allhiphop, is in jail for life.
