The New York Giants have signed former Jets and Texans kicker Randy Bullock, and waived kicker Tom Obarski, the team announced Monday.

The Giants largely have been quiet about Brown, who under the NFL’s personal conduct policy regarding domestic violence has been suspended for the Giants’ regular-season opener September 11 against the Cowboys. The Giants signed the 37-year-old to a two-year, $4 million extension this past offseason.

Obarski, who joined the Giants on January 6, missed a 27-yard field goal in Saturday’s preseason loss to Buffalo.

Pierre-Paul said Brown should not be released in the wake of the allegations. “Every player, we’re going to need them”.

According to an incident report, Molly Brown told police her husband had gotten physical with her more than 20 times and that she previously obtained an order of protection against him – which she dropped when their relationship appeared to be improving.

“I’ve said everything that I’m going to say about Josh”, McAdoo said.

“To be honest, I really don’t know anything about the situation he is going through”. It’s definitely something that is tough.

“Why should we cut him?” Owner John Mara and GM Jerry Reese also have declined comment. “But I think it”™s important for an organization and the locker room to take it on a case-by-case basis.”.

In the back of our minds, we should know most National Football League people are full of it when they talk about issues like domestic violence. In an interview, one of his team mates, defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, states that he doesn’t like it when his personal life is blasted into the media and he tries to extend that same consideration to Brown on the reasoning that every team mate has one situation or another but everyone on the team is family and that Brown is “still their brother”. Given that, Bullock would be an expensive one-game substitute, even if he signed for the veteran minimum of $760,000, if Big Blue elected to cut him after the opener. “As far as anything else goes, I am here to prepare and get ready for each preseason game and as long as they keep me and make a name for myself here”.
