More information on this “Halo 5” DLC will be revealed as the week goes on and we get closer to its release. It doesn’t seem that developer 343 Industries plans to stop. New content browser, new maps and new REQs are on the way, boys! The Anvil’s Legacy content release brings the highly anticipated content browser to Forge mode in Halo 5: Guardians on Xbox One – a new, streamlined way to discover community-created Forge content, with support for custom maps, game modes and Forge Object Groups. French also adds Halo 5: Forge coming to the PC “opens the door to new possibilities in Halo 5: Guardians and beyond”. With the addition of “Mercy”, a new battleground is open for competitive Arena players, while “Temple” brings the desert environment of Sanghelios to Warzone Assault modes.

“These places are almost ready to be revealed”, read this week’s blog post, “as the multiplayer and test teams carefully examine each nook, cranny, corner, crevice, power position, weapon pad, and many more map-py things that are included on the long list appropriately labeled ‘things to examine'”.
As for the new weapon skins in the upcoming DLC, players can check out the preview for the Landgrave. Anvil’s Legacy brings several new desirable REQ items including three new weapons, new Sound Dampener attachments, weapon and armor skins, and more.
New weapons were previewed as well in the post, as fans have been given their first look at the Gunfighter Magnum. Bravo hints that a few more skins will come with the update.

“The [REDACTED] is by far my favorite weapon in this next update”. Meanwhile, an as-yet-unannounced REQ has gained the favor of Jon Hathaway from the Investment team, who has suggested “the Ultra Rare variant is insane good at taking down Wasps”. 343 Industries is also teasing fans by hyping up a lot of new goodies they can find in the DLC, but don’t exactly mention what they are just yet. The details of this upcoming REQ are still unknown but it is unlikely costing more time to wait for the reveal.
