Cher bashes Trump at Clinton fundraiser

The Republican National Committee knocked Clinton earlier Sunday for taking a “liberal elite summer tour” of fund-raisers in “wealthy enclaves like Nantucket, Cape Cod, and Beverly Hills, a reminder of how out-of-touch she is and a clear sign of whose priorities she will really be championing if elected president”.

The second came the following Wednesday when she apparently recorded two more tracks, tweeting: “Worked last night”.

Several attendees told the local paper that the singer gave an impressive speech of her own.

Maybe Hillary should have picked Cher as her running mate? Also, “she’s not the greatest speaker in the world”.

When it comes to Donald Trump, Cher is not afraid to go there.

Before an enthusiastic crowd, Cher also said of Trump: “Do you remember “Fun with Dick and Jane”?”. It’s like a racist Fun With Dick and Jane! “I thought, ‘Oh my god, Patty McCormack in The Bad Seed, ‘” she said, referencing the actress’s portrayal of a young murderous girl in the 1956 film, explaining that both Trump and the fictional character are narcissists and don’t care who they hurt. He doesn’t mean we want to “Make America Great Again.’ He means: ‘We want to make America straight and white”.

Cher, who said she believes Clinton is “genuine”, earned cheers for her comment that “this chick is tougher than Chinese algebra”. “But I do know she will work every moment of every day”.

She directly compared Trump to past “despots, Stalin, Hitler”, who “said the same things”, she said. She has enjoyed success as a solo artist, with songs like “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “Believe”, and has starred in movies, including “Moonstruck”, “Silkwood” and “Mermaids”.
