Kate Gosselin on Son’s Struggles… and Why She Sent Him Away
Kate and the eight were interviewed by People, and her 15-year-old twins Mady and Cara don’t love the way Jon Gosselin presents their relationship with him to the media.

In a new interview with People, Kate explains why she enrolled Collin in a program away from home to help cope with his “special needs”.
Mady and Cara Gosselin appear with their mother, Kate, on the cover of People magazine this week, and the Kate Plus 8 twins, who turn 16 in October, talk about their troubled relationship with their dad, Jon, whom they haven’t seen for several years.
Though Kate is doing what’s best for Collin, 12, it is still tough for her to handle. We miss him so much, so it’s been hard because there is a huge hole in our family without him here. Gosselin adds that her father should step back and think about why some of them don’t want to spend time with him and she says that he doesn’t even know them at this point.
“I’ve felt very alone in this”, Kate added. The social media trolls who will vilify Gosselin and tell her that she’s an very bad mother, that she’s using her kids to get attention and that she’s made the wrong decision for her son. “By the same token, it’s not something that has only impacted me or him. our entire family has been impacted”.
“When your kids go to college, do you miss them?” she asks.

It never ceases to amaze me, how many flawless parents spend their days trolling other parents on social media to tell them what a bad job they’re doing raising their kids. Their kids didn’t get much say in how they were introduced to the world, but they do have some things to say now. “I thought, maybe he just wants to do stuff with Mommy or whatever, and then it became long term”. “I was just focusing on the ones that did come and then a couple years went by and then Collin stopped coming”. “I feel like I’ve made an investment in Collin’s future”.
