The actress just revealed in an interview with InStyle U.K., that her hair has gone through so much during her 20 years in Hollywood, she made a decision to turn to wearing a wig.

“For the past five years I’ve used wigs”, she revealed.
Keira Knightley has taken on a wide range of roles in her acting career, and now she’s revealed that her hair began to fall out because of it! So now Ive been finding quite a lot of dreadlocks.
The British actress said she now wears wigs to portray characters on the big screen after dye was causing her to lose her locks. It gets rid of the kinks without snagging my hair out, ‘ she recommended.
Knightley’s hair has also undergone changes since she welcomed daughter Edie with husband James Righton in May.
The thicker hair has begun to form dreadlocks, which Keira smooths out by applying Tangle Teezer to the problem tresses. “My new approach is, ‘Do what you can remember, and don’t worry about it too much”, she said. “I was told very early on that if a make-up artist tries to take your eyebrows off”, she quips, “That means he or she is absolute s**t”.
She explained that regular dying was so damaging, her hair began to fall out.
Since then, Knightley’s natural hair has been recovering.
