A seven-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and raped by three men who live in her neighborhood in east Delhi’s Mandawali area, said police. The police informed that the girl suffered brutal injuries in her private parts and her condition was serious. Three accused were mentioned in FIR and all have been arrested.

However, just a day later, the minor’s courageous act helped the police get hold of the accused, says a Times of India report. Later, they dumped her near her house and fled. They threatened her of dire consequences if she screamed.
She was admitted to Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital initially but was soon referred to AIIMS.

“The girl was sleeping in the fields in the floodplains of Yamuna river when the three persons took her to a field and raped her”, a senior police officer told IANS. The men had tied a bloodstained cloth around her neck and left her near the house. “The arrested accused including two of her neighbours are Bhure (19) Amir (21) and Bhim Sen (19)”, Reshi Pal, DCP (East) said.
