Early Voting Reduces Time For Trump Campaign Recovery

A new poll from the respected Pew Research Center, which puts Clinton’s lead over Trump at just 4 percentage points, suggests voters under 30 are especially unhappy with the major-party candidates and are looking for alternatives. It tries to contrast an America with Hillary Clinton in charge with that of Donald Trump.

She has commercials on the air in the four states Trump is targeting plus Iowa, New Hampshire, Nebraska and Nevada.

Clinton seems more than content to let Trump dominate coverage on cable news and in national newspapers.

Clinton had no intention of letting Trump’s messages pass politely. Earlier this week, Trump reshuffled his campaign leadership while his campaign chief, Paul Manafort, faced increased scrutiny over his work with pro-Russian political groups in the Ukraine.

“Eight years ago, both of these states were leaning Republican, and 20 years ago they were strongholds for the party”, said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

“This new team will be very, very aggressive”.

“The establishment media… will take words of mine out of context and spend a week obsessing over every single syllable, and then pretend to discover some hidden meaning in what I said”, Trump said.

Mr Moran said: “My concern with Trump is that he will help lock in Latino voting patterns for the foreseeable future”. “They’ve written Trump off”.

While Trump did bring in a new set of advisers in the past week, it appears all but certain his comeback strategy can not benefit from the proven building blocks of winning campaigns, especially when compared with the structure Clinton has assembled.

With pressure mounting, the White House said after Trump’s appearance that Obama would visit Louisiana on Tuesday to survey the damage.

Later Friday, Trump fired up a rally in Dimondale, Michigan – but for the fourth time this week spoke with the aid of the telepromoters he used to revile.

In a highly uncharacteristic move at a rally in North Carolina on Thursday night, Trump said for the first time that he regrets some of the caustic comments he’s made in “the heat of debate”.

The biggest reason why Donald Trump is struggling in the polls is that he has no discipline. The remark about winning 95% of the African-American vote was another in a long line of delusional promises and boasts that Trump makes off the cuff on the campaign trail. “And believe it or not, I regret it – and I do regret it – particularly where it may have caused personal pain”. Rather than offering a smoothing-over platitude as most careful political operatives might, Pierson doubled down and said that Clinton suffers from Dysphasia, a serious brain disease.
