Gerard Pique believes Pep Guardiola is the ideal mentor to develop John Stones into a world-class defender at Manchester City.

“Until the 31st of this month, all the players here are our players and I work with them like there is no end”.
The announcement was made by Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez, who confirmed that Barca had received an offer for the 33-year-old Chilean which they have chose to accept.
Pep Guardiola has not denied that Claudio Bravo could be a Manchester City player in the coming days.
Guardiola said: “I can not deny what everybody knows”.
With City on the brink of completing the £17m signing of Claudio Bravo from Barcelona, Hart will go out on loan for the season to either Everton or Seville after being axed from the first three games of the season by Guardiola, who claims he wants a goalkeeper who is better with his feet.
“You have to have doubts about that, but before I meet up with Joe I don’t know where he lies in that process at the moment”.
Everton remain the bookmakers’ favourites to seal a move for Manchester City misfit Joe Hart if he leaves the Etihad Stadium this summer.
His impressive form has made Everton decide that the outlay of covering Hart’s £135k-a-week wage is not a worthwhile expense, and they will instead concentrate on other targets. Sevilla have also been linked with the 29-year-old but Guardiola claims he is not aware of any approaches.
Guardiola has overseen victories in his opening three games and progress to the Champions League stage should be confirmed on Wednesday, with last week’s convincing success in Romania leaving the second leg little more than a formality.
He said: “I will make some rotations”. That’ll be the same with most of the players when they arrive. Everybody knows it’s not done until it’s done.

“I don’t think he’s really bothered about people talking about him. No, a lot can happen”.
