His brother Nate may have lost a decision to Conor McGregor in Vegas on Saturday, but fellow MMA fighter Nick Diaz was still partying into the week. The flurry spilled out from the toilets onto the casino floor of the Bellagio.
The confrontation unfolded just outside the Bellagio club about 2:30 a.m. when the suspended UFC fighter stumbled into a man in a bathroom, the report said, citing a nightclub representative.
We’re told Nick apologized and said he didn’t want any trouble, but 3 other men then joined the first guy and jumped Nick. who tells us, ‘I didn’t start it.
For those of you wondering if Nick instigated the fight, a club rep told ESPN’s Brett Okamoto that this was not the case at all.
The attackers who allegedly went after Diaz were also brawling with club security and the casino staff members.
Diaz apparently didn’t want to press charges over the incident after saying his attackers “got the worst of it”. They were eventually removed by security.
Nick Diaz was suspended for 18 months after testing positive for marijuana following a January 2015 fight with Anderson Silva at UFC 183.
