Clinton blasts Trump attacks on foundation
Former President Bill Clinton Wednesday defended the work of the Clinton Foundation after a report raised conflict-of-interest concerns over donors who met with his wife while she was secretary of state.

Hillary Clinton phoned into AC360 on Wednesday night and wasted no time in demolishing Donald Trump’s new favorite talking point – that she is a “bigot”.
Roger Stone, who worked for the campaign until last August and now describes himself as a “close confidante” of the billionaire, said a member of Clinton’s administration, not Bill Clinton, fathered Chelsea. “It focused on Mrs. Clinton’s meetings and calls involving people outside government who were not federal employees or foreign diplomats, because meeting with US or foreign government officials would inherently have been part of her job as secretary of state”, Colford said.
On Tuesday, the Associated Press published an analysis of previously unreleased schedules, which showed that numerous people outside of government that Clinton met during her tenure at the State Department had donated to the foundation.
“It draws a conclusion and makes a suggestion that my meetings with people like the great Elie Wiesel. were somehow due to connections with the foundation instead of their status as highly respected global leaders”, Clinton said. Fallon said Trump is grasping at straws.
“The Clinton Foundation is a charity”.
Using his knowledge of the legal system, the former Attorney General of Puerto Rico, Jose Fuentes, said he agrees with Trump that only a special prosecutor can get to the bottom of the case. His campaign manager told CNN that was not “pay to play”.
“We provided a massive amount of information and Donald Trump doesn’t release his tax [returns] and is indebted to foreign banks and foreign lenders”, she added.
Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook told MSNBC on Wednesday that Clinton does not have a conflict of interest with charitable work, and pointed to her rival’s business interests with Wall Street, China and Russian Federation.
Trump called Farage’s appearance an honor and said, “The nation’s working people will take control again”.

Democrats hope the controversy comes too late to make a difference in the election, in which most national public opinion polls show Clinton ahead. “She went to his wedding”, she told Anderson Cooper Tuesday. She said it excluded 2,000 meetings she had held with world leaders and USA government officials and came to the conclusion that meetings she held with philanthropists like Melinda Gates or Nobel Prize victor Muhammad Yunus was connected to the foundation. When he looked solid in the first debate against Vice President Al Gore, party operatives realized they had made a mistake.
