Patrick Vieira Slams Former Boss Arsene Wenger
Asano isn’t even getting in the Arsenal first team this season due to work permit issues, so he won’t be improving us in any way, shape or form.

This term the lack of transfer activity has been a sore point for fans, but Vieira has pointed out that the style of player the club now have may be affecting Arsenal’s chances of rekindling league successes.
The former midfielder said: “My generation had lots of physically strong players”.
“This last five six years Arsenal went more with this type of mobile, technical players who are completely different”. The Invicibles had it all. But I just have a feeling they are missing something – the physical presence, the personality.
“It is a bit surprising that we come out of a football match and we do not speak about the football, we speak about money. They’ve been disappointing, losing games they should have won”.
Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira has criticized former boss Arsene Wenger for failing to employ ex-players as coaches and believes the Gunners lack personality.
Arséne Wenger: “What matters to me is when you have a club with 600 employees you have the money to pay them at the end of the month”. “Last week (we didn’t play) because we weren’t fit and it was important to have one more week for training to be fit this week, and you can see, no one got injured”.
He said: “I don’t understand why you say I am reluctant (to spend money)”. “Players want to do it and not having the opportunity they feel disappointed”.
But now Invincibles skipper Patrick Vieira has hit out at the club and Arsene Wenger for failing to ensure his team has enough physicality – and for not involving more ex-Arsenal players in the coaching set up. “You should be happy; he is English, he is 20 years old, but I’m sorry he didn’t cost £55m, so it can not be good”.
The 27-year-old missed the first game of the season which saw the Gunners lost 4-3 against Liverpool at the Emirates. “Rob Holding is a good player and he is English”. “I’m not the only one”, Wenger said in his postgame news conference.

“Similar. Kante is Kante, over a longer period maybe, he had an exceptional influence but they looked to me to have the same determination”.
