Bluebell Trucks Back On The Road With Ice Cream
Blue Bell ice cream is another step closer to being back on store shelves.

Blue Bell voluntarily recalled all of its products in March, after some of its ice cream was found to be contaminated with listeria. “The agonizing decision to lay off hundreds of our great workers and reduce hours and pay for others was the most hard one I have had to make in my time as Blue Bell’s CEO and President”, stated Kruse. The company announced the good news on Facebook Tuesday afternoon.
We don’t know where it’s going – but Blue Bell ice cream is on the road again.
Blue Bell didn’t immediately return requests for comment Tuesday. The plant in Alabama was passed by the Alabama Department of Public Health for safety, and allowed to go into production again.
While Blue Bell trucks were spotted on the road, a spokesperson for the plant in Broken Arrow says they’re not reopening just yet.
The ice cream manufacturer closed its four facilities in Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas for “intensive cleaning”. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Bass is a billionaire from Texas, and his investment in Blue Bell may have saved the company.
The recalls occurred due to a listeria infection originally coming from its Brenham, Texas manufacturing facility.

There’s no word yet on when we will see the ice cream back in stores.
