The Home Minister said that an alternative to pellet guns will be given very soon.

When asked about the alternative to pellet guns, Singh said, “In 2010 when pellet guns were first introduced, it was considered non-lethal weapon. They are our own children and our own people”. Can they guarantee to shape their (youths) future. He added that the future of the nation is linked with the future of Kashmir.

“I appeal to Kashmiri people to identify those who are trying to create such a situation in the Valley”.

Sources said that most areas in south Kashmir region are dominated by protesters and the writ of the Government was as invisible as it was 47 days ago.

On Wednesday, fresh clashes broke out between protestors and security forces in Pulwama district, where one youth was killed.

The home minister said he had been informed that security forces were meanwhile exercising maximum restraint. He also asked civilians to remember the role these security personnel played during the floods in 2014.

“We hope that Home Minister not only talks with political parties, there are others as well, non-state political parties and other stakeholders. I appeal to all Kashmiris not to play with the future of youth in the Valley”.

“I will be staying at the Nehru Guest House”.

The Home Minister had said the Centre wants an emotional relationship with the state and not just need-based.

“We have clear understanding”, Rajnath replied sharply to a question from a Journalist, “don’t question our understanding”.

He said the central government will soon appoint a nodal officer to help Kashmiris in distress living in other parts of the country.

Singh’s visit is significant in the backdrop of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for dialogue within the ambit of the Constitution that he made after meeting a delegation of political leaders from Jammu & Kashmir led by former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

“The people need to give peace a chance so that the reconciliation and resolution process can be revived through dialogue and discussion”, she said. They want poor young people to get killed and blinded.

He will also hold meetings with Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. The joint press conference addressed by Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Jamm and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti didn’t go as planned. “Ninety-five percent people killed are from poor families”. Is a refrain heard from several Opposition leaders in New Delhi who had dealt with her in the past and claim not to recognise her in the CM avataar. “I also want inquiry into the death of lecturer”, she said. Thousands of civilians and forces personnel have been injured. We are extremely sad over the situation.
