Simone has been a Zac Efron fan for a long time.
Though the two might not be a true-blue couple, Mariano was quick to clap back at Zac Efron after the actor flew to Rio to meet Biles and snuck a kiss on the cheek during a selfie.
He posted a regram of Simone’s photo on Instagram with the caption: ‘@zacefron I saw her first…
Despite the hilarious moment, there’s no doubt Biles has been one of the stars of the 2016 Olympics.
United States gymnast Simone Biles is a hero around the world due to her superhuman gymnastic skills, but the athlete showed she’s just a normal 19-year-old girl when she met her long-time crush Zac Efron. Whether she follows in her sister’s footsteps or goes on to pursue a college education, you can be sure Simone will be supporting her every step of the way. While the 19-year-old has kept cool, calm and collected throughout the worldwide competition, meeting the Neighbors star ignited quite a different response. Biles tweeted out her support, telling Mariano “congrats, so proud of you” after their competition.
Simone Biles has won medals on everything single event she has participated in the last three years. At 19, Biles has already been called the best female gymnast who ever lived by former champions, including 1984 gold medalist Mary Lou Retton.
